Dr. Geoff Haradon DDS

As a periodontist near Cimarron Hills, Dr. Geoff Haradon joined the team at Rocky Mountain Periodontal Specialists in 1996. As a native of Colorado, he enjoys helping patients within the local community achieve better oral health and fully functional smiles.

After spending his undergraduate years at the University of Denver, he enrolled at the University of North Carolina to earn his dental degree. He then pursued a three-year residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio – one of the best programs in the country. During this time, he underwent advanced training in periodontal and dental implant techniques, and today, he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontics.

His passion for the field extends beyond the walls of our dental office near Cimarron Hills, though. He is an active member of the Colorado Springs Dental Society, the American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Periodontology.

When he isn’t taking care of his patients, you’ll find him with his two grown children, Tyler and Madison, as well as snowboarding, scuba diving, and playing tennis.

Dr. Karl Lackler DDS, MSDr

For more than 30 years, Dr. Lackler has continued to serve as an experienced periodontist near Cimarron Hills. Twenty of those years have been spent at Rocky Mountain Periodontal Specialists.

While he didn’t originally set out to become a periodontist, he was inspired by his family dentist after spending some time observing. Discovering a passion for oral healthcare, he decided it was the career path he wanted to follow, so he enrolled at the University of Illinois and earned his dental doctorate.

Afterward, he practiced general dentistry before completing a general practice residency in the U.S. Air Force. He then returned to the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio to earn his Master of Science in periodontics. A unique fact is that Dr. Lackler was nationally acknowledged for his original research and was chosen to be the chief of periodontics at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. During his time there, he built a dental residency and taught a periodontal curriculum to graduate dental students.

Aside from his educational and professional background, Dr. Lackler is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, a board member of the Colorado Springs Dental Association, and the director of the Southern Colorado Seattle Study Club for dental hygienists. He is also an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, and the Colorado Dental Association.

When Dr. Lackler isn’t in the office, you’ll find him spending time with his wife and three grown children, as well as gardening, traveling, restoring classic cars, skiing, and playing softball.

Dr. Tyler Haradon DDS, MS

Growing up in Monument, CO, Dr. Tyler Haradon received his bachelor's degree from the University of Denver, majoring in biology with a concentration in cognitive neuroscience and minoring in chemistry and psychology. He then attended the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

A three-year residency in periodontics and implant surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago led him to receive valuable training in periodontal and dental implant surgical procedures. During his residency, he also completed a comprehensive anesthesia hospital rotation at UI Health, obtaining certifications in advanced cardiac life support and conscious sedation.

Dr. Haradon also completed his Master of Science during his residency and performed clinical research alongside Dr. Lyndon Cooper, an internationally renowned prosthodontist.

Currently, he is an implant surgical consultant for Dandy Laboratories. His surgical experience and knowledge of digital dentistry led the company to seek his assistance in implementing a fully guided implant workflow.

Although it might seem as if free time is not something Dr. Tyler Haradon gets much of, he regularly spends it with his family, which includes his wife, Miranda, and their two children, Clark and Marley.
